The painting I started yesterday was more complicated than I had anticipated, so I finished up tonight. I won't photograph it until tomorrow so I am going to post one of my drapery studies tonight. These always prove helpful in training the eye to see abstract shapes instead of what we think we know about a subject. I highly recommend this type of study to anyone who doesn't already do them.
